Horse Riding
The Stud Stables on Gili T have a choice of well-schooled horses available for hire. Ride along the sandy beaches and on the quiet inland roads, winding through coconut
plantations, crossing only cyclists and cidomos. A sunset ride along the water’s edge is a perfect way to experience the tranquility of the Gili Islands.

Fishing Trips
Bottom fishing as well as deep sea and trolling
The Strait between Bali and Lombok is replete with fish, which the local traditional fishermen catch using simple tackle with a small outrigger (traditionally a wooden boat – Prahu or Sampan – with a triangular sail) and you can certainly choose to try this option to immerse yourself in local customs.
However we can, as a modern variation on the theme, arrange your fishing trip on our private charter boat, with our knowledgeable boat-boys choosing from an enormous array of great spots in order to guarantee your catch.
Snorkeling on Gili T
With ongoing island initiatives to protect marine life and reduce over-fishing, artificial reef projects are helping coral and fish to flourish just offshore. The result: healthier reefs and some of the best snorkelling the Gilis have seen in years.
You can simply wade out from the resort to explore, or join one of our day trips by local boat to visit reefs around the neighbouring islands.

Island Hopping
Choose from half or full-day excursions to explore the small unspoiled islands around Gili Trawangan. These expeditions can include a picnic, snorkelling or simply a relaxing afternoon on a secluded beach.
Gili Trawangan is one of the three Gilis – with Gili Meno and Gili Air only moments away by boat. Each of the islands has a different atmosphere and attractions. Gili Meno is famous for peaceful and deserted beaches, small beach front bars and cafes and laid-back style. Snorkelling from the northwest of the island is very easy and is a favourite for turtle watching! Gili Air offers a relaxed blend of local village life and a friendly social scene. It’s popular for its easygoing beach bars, diving and snorkelling spots, and sunset views across to Lombok’s mountains.
Scuba Diving
Enjoy a day of adventure by scuba diving Lombok, including Senggigi, Sekotong and Belongas Bay. Lombok scuba remains something of a hidden gem.

One of the best ways to explore Gili T is by bicycle – with no cars on the island, cycling offers a relaxed way to take in the scenery, and bikes are available to rent for approximately IDR 75,000 per 24 hours.
